Six Senses Vana

Dehradun, India

In the heart of the lush forest at the foot of the Himalayas in Dehradun, Six Senses Vana is much more than a wellness sanctuary: it is an immersive experience where well-being and serenity come together for profound transformation.

From the moment you arrive, everything is carefully orchestrated. A personalized consultation with a doctor assesses your energy balance to tailor your program: yoga, Tibetan medicine, Ayurvedic treatments, and healing cuisine inspired by Ayurveda.

The main one, focused on Ayurveda, highlights fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients often sourced directly from the resort’s garden to deliver therapeutic, balanced cuisine tailored to individual needs. The second celebrates the richness of traditional Indian gastronomy, with dishes full of authentic and generous flavors. In both cases, the menus respect the resort’s strong commitment to sustainability, while offering vegetarian and vegan options.

Anayu
Named from the Sanskrit words ana (food) and ayu (life), this restaurant embodies the belief that food is a sacred gift. It offers a culinary experience deeply connected to Ayurvedic principles, adapting meals to the three doshas Vata, Pitta, and Kapha to promote inner harmony. Menus are recommended according to individual medical consultations.

Salana
Salana celebrates wholesome, seasonal Indian cuisine in a bright and welcoming setting. À la carte meals are paired with a world-flavored buffet, all designed to support well-being. Vegetarian, vegan, and meat options are all available, made with fresh, local ingredients.
