ADLER Spa Resort DOLOMITI
Ortisei, Italy
ADLER Spa Resort DOLOMITI is the birthplace of the ADLER Group: where it all began in 1810, at a time when South Tyrol was not yet part of Italy. Its 108 rooms & suites blend seamlessly into the village of Ortisei (Val Gardena), set at 1,236 meters above sea level and facing the UNESCO-listed Dolomites.
The resort is directly connected to an expansive wellness world spanning over 4,000 sqm, featuring indoor and outdoor pools, generous relaxation areas, and saunas set on an island at the heart of the park. Here, nature and relaxation come together to create a signature Adler experience.
In the mountains, both summer and winter, the hotel enjoys direct access to one of Europe’s largest ski areas, Dolomiti Superski (Val Gardena / Alpe di Siusi, Sellaronda). Ski lifts are just a few steps away, and ski passes are available directly at the reception.
A comprehensive activity program, included in the Adler concept, shapes each season: guided hikes (up to two per day), mountain biking, e-bikes and Nordic walking in summer; ski guiding, ski safaris and snowshoeing excursions in winter. Every detail is designed to enhance the stay.
The property is easily accessible: Chiusa/Klausen train station is 20km away (≈ 25 minutes), and Bolzano main station is 36km away (≈ 40 minutes). The nearest airports are Innsbruck, 120km away (≈ 1h20), and Verona, 170km away (≈ 2h). Milan is 280km away (≈ 3h30) and Venice 260km away (≈ 3h20).
Private transfers from train stations and airports can be arranged upon request.

Lake Saunas (Adults Only) are set on an island in the garden, connected by a wooden pontoon in the heart of the village of Ortisei. The area includes a bio-sauna, Finnish sauna, steam bath, hot whirlpool, cold plunge pool and a fire lounge.
Twice a day, guests are invited to experience the Aufguss ritual: the sauna master pours scented water over the hot stones, then uses large fans to send waves of aromatic heat through the space.
Additional rituals include a floral steam grotto, a Kneipp path in a small lake, a ladies-only area with rose bath, and an oriental Rasul with fango, ideal for two.
A new relaxation area completes the experience: a pavilion with views of Sassolungo, larchwood alcoves, a fireplace, and direct access to the garden and the lake saunas.
FITNESS
A daily program of yoga classes (all levels) and fitness sessions, with private coaching available on request.
