Built in the early 1700s, this emblematic building was the private residence of João Federico Ludovice, the architect of King João V, and has now been transformed into a luxury hotel. But this XVIII century palace is much more than a boutique hotel ; it's above all a living testimony to Lisbon's turbulent history.
