Beyond the Bedroom: Atypical Suites across our Collection

Beyond the Bedroom: Atypical Suites across our Collection

Some suites impress with space. Others leave a mark because they carry something unique: history, art, architecture, or just a detail that changes the way a stay is experienced.

Across the LC DISTINCTIVE collection, a few addresses offer suites that feel truly singular.

Londra Palace Venezia

The Londra Palace has always been an intimate hotel, highly prized by artists, writers, and cultural figures attracted by the romantic and intellectual Venice of the 19th and early 20th centuries.

In December 1877, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky stayed at the hotel while working on his Fourth Symphony, a piece he described as “without doubt the best I have ever written.” Today, Junior Suite 106 pays tribute to that creative chapter.

In July 1884, Jules Verne arrived at the hotel for a short stay. News of his presence quickly spread, and Venice celebrated the celebrated French writer with fireworks, while the hotel illuminated its façade with his name in lanterns. The fifth-floor Jules Verne Suite honours his spirit of imagination, with panoramic views over the lagoon and San Giorgio.

The recently renovated Borges Suite pays homage to Argentinian writer Jorge Luis Borges, reflecting the refined and intellectual character of its namesake.

La Fiermontina Collection - Fiermonte Museum · Palazzo Bozzi Corso · La Fiermontina Ocean

Across the Fiermontina Collection, hospitality is closely tied to art and heritage. In Lecce, the Fiermonte Museum integrates contemporary artworks throughout the property, including four thematic suites each dedicated to a different art form, while nearby Palazzo Bozzi Corso opens the doors of an 18th-century palazzo with frescoed ceilings and grand volumes.

On Morocco’s Atlantic coast, La Fiermontina Ocean continues this dialogue with local culture: in the village of Dchier, the restored Cadì Thami Filali’s House, once home to the village judge, still preserves traces of its past: from family photographs dating back to the 1930s to a telephone from the 1940s.

Crillon le Brave - Maisons Pariente

Perched above the vineyards of Provence, Crillon le Brave is spread across several restored stone houses within a hilltop village. This unusual structure naturally creates suites with layered volumes, staircases, terraces, and unexpected perspectives.

Among its most distinctive accommodations is the Honeymoon Suite, set across two floors and featuring two bathtubs placed side by side, a rare and thoughtful detail designed for shared relaxation. Framed by a large window overlooking Mont Ventoux, the space invites an unhurried moment for two.

At Crillon le Brave, the suite feels like a private Provençal home woven into the rhythm of an entire village.

Casali di Casole

Set within one of Tuscany’s most remarkable private estates, the 21 villas of Casali di Casole each tell their own story. Restored farmhouses scattered across rolling hills, they preserve an authentic Tuscan soul: stone walls, wooden beams and terracotta floors.

Among them, Villa Escaiole captures the quiet magic of the estate. Hidden at the edge of a vineyard and surrounded by forest, it is one of the most secluded corners of the property.

Inside, several details feel almost cinematic: a freestanding bathtub set beside a floor-to-ceiling window opening onto the woods, and a private enclave outdoors designed for sunbathing, hot-tubbing and stargazing. As light filters through the trees, the landscape becomes part of the room, transforming a simple moment into something quietly memorable.
