In just twelve months, AKI has become exactly what its founders imagined: a refuge for modern families who want freedom, comfort, and quality time within the family. Days unfold between the Kids & Baby Club – welcoming little ones from just one month old – the playful water world, and the small ski slope just for children. Evenings belong to unhurried dinners, easy bedtimes in cleverly designed family suites, and perhaps a quiet escape to the forest spa for parents.
This November, as AKI celebrated its first birthday, another milestone has come: Travel + Leisure Italy’s Best Award 2025 – Best Family-Friendly Hotel. A remarkable recognition for such a young property, and a clear sign that AKI has struck a chord with families and travel professionals alike.

What this first year has really confirmed is that AKI is more than a successful concept on paper. It has already built a community of families who return in different seasons, discovering the resort under the snow, in spring light or in late-summer softness – each time finding the same care, the same familiar faces, and the same sense of ease.
The wellness side, so central to the ADLER philosophy, quietly shapes the stay: parents rediscover what it means to rest properly, to switch off without feeling guilty, to step into the forest spa or a yoga class knowing that their children are not just “looked after”, but happily engaged. The result is a kind of balance that is rare in family travel: nobody must sacrifice their own rhythm for the holiday to work.
For a resort only one year old, that may be AKI’s greatest achievement: proving that a family escape in the mountains can be deeply restorative for parents, truly exciting for children, and beautifully simple for everyone.
